WALKING THE CANAL Most of the canal is on PRIVATE LAND, but there are still parts that are accessible to the public, and occasionally the Society conducts guided tours of these. If you do wish to walk the canal please keep to the public footpaths and not damage our good relationship with landowners by trespassing. Please go to the BOOKS section where you can learn about several books on walking the SCC. These seem, periodically, to go out-of-print, so please check with Amazon or your local bookseller. | |
