Hardware and software requirements.
.. are very simple!
We will deliberately keep these requirements low. No fancy Java script or flashing movies. We won't win any prizes for the design of the site from the graphic artists. We plan to keep it all relatively simple in order to speed download times for those who havn't got fast modems or the latest browser.
We advise: an Apple Mac. running Sys 7.0 or later with at least 8mb ram (esp. if you use Netscape). Obviously a modem (28k min if possible).
For those unlucky enough to have a "Wintel" machine, a 486 running windows 3.0x or '95. 8mb Ram.
Optional: a printer and, perhaps, a cheap scanner (not at all vital!).
A browser such as Netscape 3 or above, or Internet Explorer 3, or above.
Of course, if you can read all this on your computer at present then you know that your machine already meets the requirements!
