From Wellow to Midford. Notice the old path of the Somersetshire Coal Canal to the right.
A superb photo of Wellow station looking north towards Midford. The staion has been restored and extended to became a private residence.The tall chimney in the mid-ground was that belonging to the old Fullers Earth Processing Shed.
Wellow signal box. This is still standing but has an extension 'tacked-on'. It is at present used (illegaly?) as a permanent residence. The owner is in dispute with the various authorities over the building of an illegal connection between the box and the extension.
